Old Bursledon is one of Hampshire’s most picturesque villages — period cottages, Georgian houses and former boatyards above the River Hamble. The homes here deserve decorating that respects and enhances their character.

Many of the older buildings have original lime plaster, exposed timber frames and surfaces built up over centuries. Each requires a different preparation approach, and getting it right is where most of our project time is spent.

We dedicate approximately 70% of every project to preparation. For historic properties we often specify breathable, low-VOC finishes sympathetic to the building’s fabric.
