3. Service Contracts and Bookings
Quotations: Any quotes provided by us are valid for 30 days from the date of issue.
Acceptance: A contract is only formed when you accept our quotation in writing and we confirm the booking.
Deposits: Materials costs are to be paid atleast a week prior to a job commencing, to allow for procurement.
4. Pricing and Payment
Rates: All prices are quoted in GBP (£).
Payment Terms: Invoices must be paid on day of receipt. We reserve the right to charge interest on late payments under the Late Payment of Commercial Debts (Interest) Act 1998.
5. Cancellations and Rescheduling
By the Customer: You must give us at least 14 days notice if you need to cancel or reschedule a service booking. Failure to do so may result in a cancellation fee.
By Paintology: If we must cancel due to unforeseen circumstances (e.g., illness, extreme weather), we will offer an alternative date or (if paid for) deliver all materials purchased to date.
6. Limitation of Liability
We provide our website and services with reasonable care and skill. To the extent permitted by UK law, Paintology is not liable for any indirect, special, or consequential loss, or any loss of profit, revenue, or data. Nothing in these Terms limits our liability for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, or for fraud.
7. Consumer Rights (For Residential Customers)
If you are buying from us as a consumer, nothing in these Terms affects your statutory rights under the Consumer Rights Act 2015, including your right to cancel certain contracts within a 14-day cooling-off period.
8. Governing Law
These Terms and any dispute arising out of your use of our website or services are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of England and Wales. Any disputes will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.
